So I finally decided on an Adafruit Pro Trinket to replace the Arduino Uno hanging off the back of my new LED Matrix.
Here’s a couple of photos to show it (and my messy wiring) off:
The Pro Trinket is such a tiny little board, with all the features of the full size Arduino, with the exception of built-in serial connectivity. If I wanted this piece to sit and receive data from a PC, I’d probably opt for the slightly larger Adafruit Metro Mini. As with the connections from the LED driver to the matrix, I soldered up a little header to connect the Trinket just to make it a little less permanent.
